Club Members Thanks
The Saturday Club is a marvellous idea for lonely people to enjoy company of other people to attend meetings and outings such as lunches and entertainment at least twice a week. Especially for those for who are independent on others. It is much appreciated that the volunteers give their valuable time on a Saturday. A lot of work goes on behind the scenes that many are not aware of. There are extra activities at Christmas and Easter when we all receive a presents. We have the use of the Acorns day centre and all their facilities especially which are geared for the disabled. Transport is provided from door to door for a nominal fee which is great for senior citizens.
